Guardian Angel

Guardian Angel, by my bedside,
guide me gently, as I take flight.
You whisk me, to places unknown,
where all is beautiful and free.
I never feel cold or frightened,
with your wings  wrapped around me.
You tell me of  days to come,
when the lion  lays  down with the lamb.
Oh what heavenly plans  I hear,
as I dream of  days to come,  with no fear.
Fields of flowers and butterflies,
streams and rivers, flowing so free.
The air we breathe, the freshest ever,
as if on top of a mountain peak.
To look upon your face so bright,
like heavenly rays of sunlight.
You never tell me what to do,
you lovingly guide my ways.
God knew me before I,
 was formed in the womb.
He sent you here,
to guide, protect, and love only me.
