Amazon.com Product Description: A smart way to feed your precious one, this twin pack of BornFree 9-ounce wide-neck bottles is free of the potentially harmful chemical Bisphenol-A. ![]() Rating: - Bottles are fine once you get used to all the partsWe bought the Born Free bottles because they were the only wide nipple, BPA FREE bottles available at the time. Our son ajusted well to the new nipples (he had been using Avent nipples for about 8 months). In fact, he seemed to like them better. The bottle itself isn't too bad if you are just putting breast milk in it, but you have to be careful if you are mixing formula in the bottle. There is a slit in the air vent that gets blocked every so often even when you mix the formula side to side. ... Read More Rating: - Might be for you, but not worth it for meMy wife wanted these because they're supposed to be the safest. They're also expensive. The twin pack I saw in the store came with two vents (one for each bottle) but curiously the 3-pack came with only 1 vent. But you can't use the bottle without the vent. The vent sticks up a quarter inch above the rim of the bottle, so if you screw the nipple on without the vent it will leak. We were used to the Evenflo nipples with the integrated "vent" (two air-holes) so I forgot that if you took ... Read More Rating: - Great Baby Bottlei have been using this baby bottle for 9 months now. i loved it. i think it's easier to clean than dr. brown. I had nipple collapse problem for a few times, and i found out you just need to make sure the opening on that silicon vent to open to prevent nipple collapse. (it seals itself sometimes). I would rate it as 5 star, if not for the price of the nipples. i think they charge way too much for nipples, and they are just standard silicon nipples, nothing special. i have been using ... Read More Rating: - Feeding is a breeze...My daughter had jaundice when she was born, so our ped recommended supplementing...so we did, using these bottles and we haven't looked back. She's primarily on formula now and hasn't had an issue going from breast to bottle and back (maybe it's just her! - lucky me). I recently had an issue with the nipples collapsing, but just figured she was ready for the next size nipple, we tried size 2 and it worked like a charm. Since day one, she's never spit up much and has one good burp after eating and is happy ... Read More Rating: - Unsanitary yet BPA free...I just bought one of these and threw out all of my Soothie's and Playtex bottles because of the whole BPA thing. My son is 13 months, I breastfed for 7 then started supplementing. Now we're here, budget wise I bought one. Here's the deal, the nipple is super soft, no it didn't cause problems with him getting the milk out, I even gave him pediasure and he drank all eight ounces from this bottle, however after he drank the strawberry pediasure I tried to wash it. I soaked it, boiled it, re-washed ... Read More |
